Dynamite Entertainment has announced an exclusive new Vampirella lithograph to benefit artist Joyce Chin who suffered a stroke on the way to this year’s C2E2. Proceeds from the sale will go toward’s Chin’s GoFundMe campaign to cover medical expenses, with any overages going to the Hero Initiative, a non-profit that helps comics industry professionals who suffer grave health problems.
Chin said: “I’ve been working with Dynamite/Dynamic Forces off and on for around two decades now, on a huge variety of incredible characters. This lithograph is one of the pieces people have told me is one of their favorites.”
Dynamite CEO & Publisher Nick Barrucci stated: “Joyce and Arthur have long been two of my favorite artists and I’ve had the pleasure of working with them. They both are incredibly talented and have unique styles. I’m fortunate to have been close friends with them for years and was shocked to hear of Joyce’s injury. We thought the perfect way to boost their fundraising efforts was to give fans the opportunity to help as well as receive one of Joyce’s most beautiful pieces as a bonus.”
The art chosen for the 11″ by 17″ litho is Joyce Chin’s cover of Vampirella (2001) #20, available now for just $29.99:
Copies personally signed by Chin are also available for only $49.99:
This lithograph beautifully displays Joyce Chin’s first work on the Daughter of Drakulon, originally a variant cover for Vampirella (2001) #20. Beyond the clean, gorgeous central figure, the piece amazes with endless detail in Vampi’s hair and the lush background. Such detail will be reproduced in high quality on an 11″ by 17″ lithograph print.
