Sideshow Collectibles has announced the “Skull Apple” life-size prop replica from its original dark fantasy property Court of the Dead. The approximately three-and-a-half inch tall polystone collectible was designed Sideshow Chief Creative Officer & Court of the Dead creator Tom Gilliland, sculpted by Alfred Paredes, and painted by Casey Love:
Unfortunately, no release information was given for the Court of the Dead Skull Apple prop replica and it is not yet available on preorder, but you can join the product’s waitlist. Once released, the Court of the Dead Skull Apple will be available for just $50:
Rosy, red-cheeked apples have long been used in Sideshow photography to provide a sense of scale next to our highly-detailed collectibles. But not all apples can be as hardcore as the apple of our undead eye. Painted in charmingly gruesome detail, the Skull Apple looks frighteningly good next to any horror collectible. Cast in resin, it will never wither away.
The Skull Apple stands an average 3.75″ tall, but that is the only standard thing about it. From the bottom of its bruised chin to the tip of its gnarled stem, the Court of the Dead Skull Apple Replica is rotten to the core and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
