Lionsgate has announced a new live-to-film concert world tour event based on the 2008 teenage vampire romance movie Twilight. Dubbed Twilight in Concert, the event will feature a full orchestra performing composer Carter Burwell’s score live during a screening of the film.
Lionsgate Senior Vice President of Global Live & Location-Based Entertainment Jenefer Brown stated: “We’re thrilled to launch another live-to-film tour in the footsteps of our Hunger Games and La La Land international concert events. The combination of author Stephenie Meyer’s brilliant storytelling, Carter Burwell’s musical genius, and a truly legendary underlying film and book property will continue to expand the world of Twilight and introduce it to legions of new fans around the world.”
Based on the bestselling book of the same name by author Stephenie Meyer, Twilight was directed by Catherine Hardwicke, written by Melissa Rosenberg, and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.
Twilight in Concert kicks off this August in Brazil befroe moving on the Australia & the United Kingdom.
