WBGames Reveals “Kabal” As Playable Character In ‘Mortal Kombat 11’

WBGames has revealed that “Kabal” will be a playable character in the upcoming eleventh installment of the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise. Kabal first appeared in 1995’s Mortal Kombat 3 and is described as:

“a former Black Dragon enforcer turned Revenant. Known for his lightning fast speed, deadly Hook Swords and reliance on an artificial respirator for survival, Kabal was resurrected as a twisted, evil version of himself, who now serves the Netherrealm and pledges to destroy all other realms.”

The nearly two-and-a-half minute long reveal trailer features both cinematic and gameplay footage of Kabal facing off against Sub-Zero, Cassie Cage, and Baraka:

While Mortal Kombat 11 won’t be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One until Tuesday, April 23rd, it’s now available to preorder for $59.99:
