Blumhouse has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming¬†supernatural slasher Boogeyman Pop, which, as we reported back in June, will be screened next week at the Popcorn Frights Film Festival in sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL. The nearly minute-and-a-half trailer sets up the premise of the movie via the narration of one of the main characters, and features a ton of new scenes and some very 80’s music:

Boogeyman Pop is written & directed by Brad Michael Elmore and stars M.C. Gainey, James Paxton, Alixandra von Renner, Dillon Lane, Jose Julian, Greg Hill, King Orba, Dayton Sinkia, Dominique Booth, and Kyle Cameron.

Synopsis:

An examination of adolescence through the lens of horror and trash culture with three interlocking stories over the course of the first weekend of Summer Break in the Pacific Northwest.
