Among yesterday’s crop of new horror movie trailers posted to Wild Eye Releasing’s YouTube page was the official trailer for its upcoming zombie movie Call of the Undead. The Japanese film was originally released back in 2012 under the name Zombie 108, and is just now getting an official US release.

The minute-long trailer shows a women looking for her daughter during in an urban area during the zombie apocalypse, along with a ton of action sequences with the undead and heavily armed soldiers:

Call of the Undead (AKA Zombie 108) was written & directed by Joe Chen, and stars Morris Hsiang Jung, Yvonne Yao, Sona Eyambe, Josh-Hiyakawa Wilson, Jack Kao, Tai-Bo, Yukiya Oonishi, Ching-Hsuan Wei, and Karen Shih.

A virus breaks out in a cartel-controlled city that’s turns people into violent, bloodthirsty maniacs. As military teams are dispatched to evacuate residents, they quickly become trapped between the violent criminals an army of undead. In a last ditch effort, the cartel and the army join forces in order to fight their way through the city before the infected can stop them.
