Flush Studios has released the official trailer for its upcoming horror comedy The Good Exorcist. Josh Stifter, the film’s creator, is one of the contestants featured in El Rey Network’s Rebel Without A Crew competition series hosted by legendary director Robert Rodriquez, which challenges indie filmmakers to create a movie with just $7,000 and a limited equipment. The over minute-long trailer introduces us to Father Gil, an exorcist who might be in for more than he can handle:
The film is directed by Stifter, written by Stifter & Daniel Degnan, and stars Degnan, Brittany Ortiz, and Avery Merrifield.
The Good Exorcist will be released Thursday, February 21st exclusively on El Rey Network.
A socially awkward but reliable exorcist attempts to remove a difficult demon from a ranch owned by an eccentric family in Texas. However, the demon proves to be more difficult than the priest assumed it would be.
