For the upcoming 40th anniversary celebration of John Carpenter’s original 1978 slasher movie Halloween, Nick Castle, the actor who played Michael Myers AKA “The Shape” in 1978 and in the upcoming sequel by Blumhouse, has recreated an image he took on the set of the original film 40 years ago. Both images feature Castle holding up the time-appropriate Michael Myers mask next to his face:

H40: 40 Years of Terror takes place at the Pasadena Convention Center Friday, October 12th through Sunday, October 14th.

Blumhouse’s upcoming sequel Halloween hits theaters nationwide Friday, October 19th.
