RLJE Films announced that it has acquired the North American distribution rights to XYZ Films’ French horror movie Housewife. The film is directed by Can Evrenol (Baskin), written by Evrenol & Cem Özüduru, and stars Clementine Poidatz (Shut-In), David Sakurai, and Alicia Kapudağ. Housewife premiered last year at the L’Etrange Festival in France and has been winning accolades on the festival circuit ever since.
RLJE Films’ Ward De Leo said: “We’re truly excited to bring Housewife to audiences. Housewife has been well-received by horror fans in Europe and North America at various film festivals and the word of mouth has been tremendous.”
Housewife is planned for release by RLJE Films sometime this Fall.
