Shout! Factory has released the Forbidden World Limited Edition Steelbook blu-ray to its Scream Factory line of horror home videos. The Steelbook is limited to just 5,000 copies and features incredible brand-new cover artwork by Laz Marquez:

What’s more, the first 1,500 orders placed through Shout! Factory will receive an exclusive limited edition 28.5” x 16.5” rolled lithograph of the new cover art.

Roger Corman’s 1982 sci-fi/horror movie was directed by Allan Holzman & written by Jim Wynorski, R.J. Robertson, and Tim Curnen. Forbidden World stars Jesse Vint, Dawn Dunlap, June Chadwick, Linden Chiles, and Fox Harris. Recently departed effects legend John Carl Buechler did the special effects.
