UK-based film company CreatorVC Studios released a new trailer for its upcoming 80’s horror movie documentary In Search of Darkness. The nearly three-and-a-half minute trailer is chock full of interviews and scenes from dozens of iconic 80’s horror movies:

While the theatrical release of In Search of Darkness is only 90 minutes, the Indiegogo campaign has bankrolled a three-hour extended cut, plus an additional “Iconic Women of Horror” segment. Digital copies are going for just $26, while a DVD or blu-ray costs $46:

The 1980’s exploded onto our screens in a veritable feast of blood, sweat, and chills. Madmen, killers, and evil spirits mingled with aliens, demons and cursed dolls; horrific images burnt directly onto our retinas and etched permanently into our brains. And we loved it.
