AMC Networks announced that its horror streaming service Shudder has acquired the rights to last year’s paranormal horror/comedy Deadtectives. The film premiered at the 2018 Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia and is slated for the Seattle International Film Festival and Brazil’s Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film later this year.
Odin’s Eye Entertainment’s Michael Favelle added: “Shudder is the perfect home for the picture. We are excited to reach an audience who we know will die for this razor-sharp supernatural comedy from the talented Tony West.”
Deadtectives was written & directed by Tony West and stars Chris Geere, Martha Higareda, Tina Ivlev, Jose Maria de Tavira, and David Newman.
Unfortunately, no information regarding the film’s debut on Shudder has been revealed at this time, so stay tuned!
