DC Comics has announced that Chino Moreno, vocalist for metal band Deftones, has released a new single for the Dark Nights Metal soundtrack, entitled “Brief Exchange”. The track is produced by Mike Elizondo and former Marilyn Manson guitarist Tyler Bates. Elizondo also plays bass on “Brief Exchange”, while Bates handles guitar, and Gil Sharone from Dillinger Escape Plan & Puscifer handles the drums, however, the song is unmistakably Moreno.

“Brief Exchange” is the second track inspired by Dark Nights: Metal, last month we reported that Brann Dailor (Mastodon) released “Red Death” .

The Dark Nights: Metal graphic novel contains issues #1 through #6 of the monthly comic series. The 216-page full-color book is written by Scott Snyder & illustrated by Greg Capullo. The Dark Nights: Metal Deluxe Edition graphic novel is now available in both print & digital for just $18:
