Waxwork Records has revealed, via social media, a double LP original motion picture score from the classic 1981 slasher flick The Prowler. This is the first time that composer Richard Einhorn’s music from the film has been collected on any format. The 180 gram discs are appropriately colored in “Army Green Swirl” with “Red Rose Petal Splatter” and the set features brand-new artwork by master horror artist “Ghoulish” Gary Pullin.
Within you’ll find liner notes by director Joseph Zito and a printed insert of Rosemary’s break-up letter from the beginning of the movie.
Unfortunately, this double LP only includes the background music to the film and not the famous three tracks played by the band Nowhere Fast: “Disco Blood”, “Hard Way”, and “View Through a Tear”.
Waxwork’s The Prowler Original Motion Picture Score is now available to purchase for $36:
