Valiant Entertainment has released the first issue of its five-part voodoo punk rock comic miniseries Punk Mambo. Part of the company’s larger Shadowman universe, Punk Mambo issue #0 was released as a one-shot way back in 2014.

The 32-page full-color comic is written by Cullen Bunn & illustrated by Adam Gorham with cover art by Dan Brereton and variant covers by Zu Orzu, Cris Delara, and Brereton, plus a blank cover:

Synopsis:

Punk Mambo is a hard-living voodoo priestess who grew up in London, then relocated to Louisiana’s Bayou Country. Now, she’s a mystical mercenary for hire. In her first-ever solo series, Punk Mambo investigates a series of abductions in the New Orleans gutter punk scene, stumbling upon a deadlier mystery that takes her to the haunted shores of Haiti.
